Mkhitaryan has struggled to hit the heights of his debut season at United this term and was dropped to the bench for the side’s 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield.
On his omission, Mourinho said: ‘There are four changes in the team to try to give a bit of fresh legs and intensity.
